Enable 2FA

1. Install an authenticator such as Aegis, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, or Bitwarden.
2. In Odoo, select your profile picture and choose My Preferences.
3. Open the Security tab and click Enable 2FA.
4. Confirm your password.
5. Scan the QR code with the authenticator. If scanning is unavailable, use the displayed setup key.
6. Enter the six-digit Verification Code and click Activate.
7. Sign out and perform a test sign-in.

Never email the setup key or QR code, and do not store it with ordinary documents.

Danger

If you lose the authenticator and have no recovery method, contact an administrator. The administrator must disable 2FA before you can sign in again.
